Almost all of the cities in the Davao Region have now achieved first-class city status, this is according to Department Order No. 074-2024 issued by the Department of Finance (DOF).
Panabo City jumped from third to first class, Digos City advanced from second to first, and Mati City made an incredible leap from fifth to first class.
